Good morning :) I'm starting this week with Christine Cody's para series Bloodlands- Blood Rules and In Blood We Trust. I read Bloodlands last night and I really liked it.

Irisheyes | 896 comments Head Over Heels by Jill Shalvis. I'm really liking Sawyer and Chloe. Funny, cause I had a really hard time getting into the last one (Tara's story) - I didn't even finish it, but this one has me hooked.

I'm reading Prey by Linda Howard. Kind of slow starting, but it's picking up and I'm sure I'll enjoy it in the end! Eeeek!!! Usually I love what she writes...

Well, I lucked into an ARC of The Duke Is Mine over the weekend and devoured it yesterday. I wish I could share it with you all, but there's not too much longer to wait. It was delicious! I can't wait for yall to read it so we can discuss.

Now I've just started Live to Tell by Lisa Gardner and it's great. Not romance, though I hear that there is a romantic thread.

I read the new Jo Goodman. I didn't expect a contemporary'! Liked it a lot. Now I'm reading The Comrades, set in medieval wales. (written by a Canadian lawyer--interesting plot moments come from the king deciding cases.) it's reAlly good especially for a first novel and I say that as someone who often finds medievals too over the top--it's historically consistent without overdoing it .
I have no releases on preorder until dec 26 and then 6 at once! Why are they all post holiday! Am I missing something good?

Beebs (yvond) | 45 comments Just finished Jane Goodger's When a Duke Says I Do (really enjoyed this, unusual hero), Adrienne Basso's Tis the Season to be Sinful (a really sweet Christmas story) and Elizabeth Hoyt's Legend of the Four Soldiers series. I can't believe I've only just discovered Elizabeth Hoyt but I'm very glad I did, her books are AMAZING. I'm not sure what to read next.

Cool about the new Goodman, D. I didn't realize it was a contemporary either. I'm looking forward to it.

Welcome, Beebs! You've got some great reading in store if you haven't read all of Hoyt yet. Though you've already read one of my favorites, TO SEDUCE A SINNER, it sounds like. :)
