I picked up

for my book club tomorrow night.

I gave it 3 stars. I found the writing style difficult to understand. The themes of alcoholism and child abuse were disturbing.
I can't say I would have chosen to read The Bone People, but it's a group read for another group. It'll be interesting to see what the others think.

Yes, please let me know.

I quit cooking some years ago when I went on strike, and never picked it back up again. Now that I'm alone, I think I've forgotten how to cook.
I "boiled" chicken drumsticks in mushroom sauce the other day and have tried to salvage them in two different ways. Let's just say, all three dishes were fails.
Break out the ice cream!
Janice. I marked The Art of Eating In: How I Learned to Stop Spending and Love the Stove to read and my mom just laughed and said to tell her how that works out. Cooking is so not my forte......even with people to cook for.

The Joan Rivers book looks good, Kimberly. I might have to add that one to my TBR list. She is TOO MUCH. I think I have the Weight Watchers book. It DOES have some good recipies. If this is the one that has the turkey meatloaf, you should try it. It is one of my favorites!
Very excited to bring home
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. This is our bookclub read for next month.

I started LITTOC long back and was more than halfway through when I had to return the book I borrowed from friend. Now I think I need to start from the very beginning and read it completely. Reread OHYOS, wow! That does seem like it should suffice for a one-time read, still on my list. Good luck with finishing them this year or then, maybe, the next. :D

I picked up these holds:

Not yet but I have heard so many good things about it.
Kimberly wrote: "I picked up these holds:

Picked up these holds:

the second book is to be the South African version of
so of course I have to read it.
I had to renew my library card today so I picked up these holds:
and
and grabbed this one from the shelf for a lighter fun read:
