but she's not the only character that called my atention. Despite of his mistakes, Edmund almost died saving Narnia and I think it's a very dangerous, but brave way to apologize his previous behavior.
And I love Aslan, of course...

I love that Aslan is.
I love Lucy's faith.
I love Edmund's repentance and redemption.
I love Reepicheep's courage.
I love Caspian's leadership/authority.
I love Tumnus's making of hard choices.
I love Peter's care and covering of his siblings.
I love the Beavers' continuous steadfast hope and courage.
I love Susan's intelligence and prudence.
These are awesome stories by an awesome man who saw more of what was real in creation than many authors have. :)

I love both of them!

2. Lucy - she is just awesome! Her faith in Aslan proved her to be closest to Aslan.
3. Reepicheep - his courage is the stuff of legend,a real height complex!!!!
4. Mr. Tumnus - He braved the Queen so that Lucy could run away
5. Edmund - After he learned his lesson, he became a just and merciful King
6. Caspian - he brought together Narnians and humans alike so that the lived in peace
7. The Beavers - they were the couriers of the four so that they could to Aslan

Lucy: I'm obviously a guy, but I was kind of like her growing up.
Eustace: upon re-exposure. Despised him as a kid, but now that I'm older I don't have quite as visceral a reaction to him. Really he may well be the best drawn characters, as he's one of the few that has a fully worked out character arc through the books. The only other character that changes much is Edmund.
Caspian: Prince Caspian may well have been my favorite of all the books growing up, and it was in part because of Caspian's age. In the book he is, I think, ten or eleven, and the idea of a kid not much older than me doing what he did was fascinating and empowering to me.

I agree. Great comment!!! I also think that just like Edmund we grow and change in our realationship with God as he did through the series. We continue to grow and change until we die really. We're never perfect but God still loves in our imperfectness. Which really is a comforting thought.

Shasta - again, someone with inner conflicts and who suffers much but who does the right thing and is one of the more admirable people in the series
Aslan stands out. There is no need to actually mention him. Aslan is Aslan and Aslan is on the first place.

Definitely Puddleglum!

I never liked Peter. He always struck me as arrogant.
