Petra nodded. Such bliss. If only she could forget.
So many questions. How was it to have a mom? To be loved? To have someone that cared? But she asked none.

Lucy was settled comfortably, with a spiral in her hands. A light blue Bic marker was in her left hand as she sketched. It was a simple drawing, a tre that was reaching out to the margins, and filled the entire top half of the page. Her iPod sat next to her, softly playing The Scientist. She seemed thoughtful, and she was. Replaying the scene of Vik early that day at the peach tree.

The cautious, jumpy, skittish Englishwoman found herself outside of her dorm for once, and in front of the warm fireplace inside the common room. Blonde locks were tied up into a pony behind her head.
Entering the room, and seeing it occupied, Cassandra offered a ginger smile to Lucy.

Lucy looked up from her note book, returning the smile. She turned down the volume a little, capping her marker and grabbing a darker shade.

Cassandra cocked her head to the side. "You're an artist, I see?" English accent was prominent in the girl's soft voice as she spoke to Lucy with a warm smile.
"Oh." She looked down at her work. "I..." Again she was surprised to find a British person. "I guess so. I don't really think of it that way, it's more like my doodles." The girl explained.

Cassandra shrugged. "Some call them doodles, other call them art. I'll classify as one of the latter."
A smile, and a hand was offered. "I'm Cassandra."

"Lucy." She replied, shaking her hand. "What part of Britan are you from?" She asked curiously, setting the notebook down and clicking her pen shut.

((Sorry, I was making a list. Lol, I don't know where Lucy's from. Somewhere in Britan.))"Oh, I'm from New Castle." She informed her, but her own british accent was hidden , you could still hear it a little.

Yvette sat, sprawled across the leather sofa in front of the fireplace. Hair was down, about her shoulders, and the wispy blonde was being twirled around one finger.

Domonic entered the Common Room, pulling a slimmer, shorter-haired figure along with him. He looked in surprise, flushing a little when he saw Yvette on the sofa. "Oh, hi Yvette." He grinned at Cadenza, hand slipping into hers.

Grey-blue gaze flitted to the pair. She smiled.
"Hey Domonic, Cadenza. I like the haircut."
Cadenza flushed and ran a hand through it. "Thanks."

"How are you today?" He asked his friend, settling in a small loveseat near Yvette.

Yvette shrugged. "I'm fine."
She held a letter in her hands, one that had been read time and Tom again. In truth, she wasn't fine. It was from her mother.
Cadenza took a seat beside Domonic, and threw her lanky legs over his lap.

Domonic's eyes fell on the letter, his eyebrows knitting together. Then his attention was returned to Cadenza, a smile tugging at his lips. He almost kissed her, but thought better of it remembering Yvette.
"You about to contact the family?" He asked the trapeze artist, regarding the letter in her hands.

Domonic returned the squeeze lightly, tipping her a wink.
"Why do you look so upset, then?" He bit back many circus jokes, funding himself frowning as well.

Cassandra smiled sweetly. "New Castle, eh? I've heard it's nice; never been."

A shrug. "Not exactly. He takes care of me when I need it, and when I don't, on days such as today, we're just... friends."
The word bothered her. Friends. They were much more than that before. Could two silly shards of metal really ruin that?

Across the room, Alayna gazed longingly at the glass vase sitting on the coffee table before her. There were so many ways you could hurt somebody with glass...she shook her head. No thoughts like that; not now. Not when she had to keep her head clear for planning. Since the night she'd stabbed Roxie, she'd been getting edgier and edgier, until she came to regret the decision entirely. It was hard to find things to kill in this place, much less big things that would fight back, like dogs. Alayna shook her head again and sighed quietly. What an opportunity she'd wasted that night.

She glanced over at Alexander, and cocked her head to the side. "Did your parents care for you two before theysent you here?"
