Lee Holz Dear Moderator,

Some time ago I requested that you create new folders for:
LITERARY FICTION REVIEWS and
HISTORICAL FICTION REVIEWS to replace the topics of those names I created under the FICTION folder. Now I'm requesting the same for a folder to be called
THRILLER REVIEWS to replace the topic of the same name under the FICTION FOLDER I created as a place to put my review of Splitter's The Reluctant. I would like to have the reviews to have more prominence in order to (a) better promote the deserving works of GR authors and (b) attract others to write reviews in these three genres. Please.

Rebecca Burke | 17 comments To Amy,

Thanks for setting up this discussion. Everyone is so encouraging and helpful.

Was there a thread here at one time called "Need a book reviewing"? I can't seem to find it any longer. Thanks to anyone who has an answer.

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments Rebecca- you can just create a new thread if you have a book that needs reviewed. We do have a review thread somewhere but just create one with your book title and put it in the appropriate folder! it will be great!

Just to be clear, I assume that the moderators make up the folders, not the members. I have a new romantic sailing mystery that I'd like to get reviewed. How to do this please?

I believe it's here. Make a thread of your own within this section area.

Angela Smith (dandilyonfluff) | 144 comments Wow! I peek in after months of being away to find Amy scolding us! What's this about indies and trads being at odds? It used to be fiction vs non fiction.

We are all two sides of the same coins. Thank God we aren't all the same - egads can you imagine the competition?

Anyways, let's all behave so Amy doesn't have to scold more.

Jeanine (truejourney) | 35 comments Hey, guys ;) It has been forever since I've posted in any group; life gets in the way entirely to much. Anyway, I've been listening to Amy and Cambria for the last couple of days on their blog talk radio (listening to interviews with Jen Armentrout and H.D. Gordon and tonights interview with Lane Diamond) and I have to say that you ladies are hilarious. I about choked when Mr. Diamond said what he did about freelance editors and self-published authors. lol Though I do agree with a lot of what he said, that is only one side of it and we all know that there are fabulous self-published authors out there, as well as freelance editors*Cough*AMY*Cough*. Back to the point, I am addicted to Journal Jabber now! I just wanted to thank you guys for making my day a little brighter.

Amadak Ubeng | 4 comments Greetings from Nigeria!
It's harmattan season down here. The air is cold, dry and dusty. I think the first novel read as a kid was Jane Eyre. I was hooked. I've never stopped since then.
I'm Amadak Ubeng, a fun, down-to-earth young lady.

If you don't mind you can give me an honest review of my debut novel "Underworld Heaven".
Written in simple English putting younger minds into consideration.

Launching soon hence the review request for corrections if need be.

I will send a pdf to any interested reader/reviewer. Inbox me on here!
Thanks a lot guy.

Hi Amy.
I joined Goodreads two years ago as a reader and aspiring writer. Why are people being snippy. They sound like they have way too much free time. I have annoyed someone but it was a mix of over enthusiasm and inexperience.
Perhaps you might explain how I go about finding the right people to ask for reviews. I have three books on Amazon and only one of them have reviews An Amazon Hall of Fame Reviewer wrote " be aware that this is an important new voice in the league of Irish Fantasy Authors" which was great but the reviews stopped coming, mainly because I stopped looking. So I guess I only have myself to blame.
. It might be that it is free but every day there are 3 to 4 downloads. The main character is a middle aged woman living somewhere in small town America. What is interesting about Hattie is that nothing scares her. Considering what's going on in Jerusalem ridge, she should be scared.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
Regards.
