YA Horror Book, attacked when asleep in big house, possibly part of a series?

Yep, it WAS those books from the Sweet Valley Twins. I don't know why I didn't think of it being one of those books, I read them like crazy back in the day. Thanks, everyone!

This sounds an awful lot like "If I Die Before I Wake (Sweet Valley Twins #100)".. It's been a while.. but I remember the second or third floor (the house was really big I remember) was where the kids slept. They had babysitter twins who before they could enter the bedroom had to do a dance/ritual to "keep the bad" things out. It's kind of a middle schooler book though? It gives me shivers though.. the thought of a dead little girl coming into their dreams every night when they're asleep and they're trapped unless someone wakes them up..

I agree. I was thinking of 'The Beast is Watching You' which is one of the lead-up ones to #100.
