It was hard to get into at first because it was hard to understand. As soon as I understood what was going on, I really liked it.

Have you read the next one? Did she ever explain what happened during the Unity or what exactly that Aether sky thing is?

message 1765: by Jon, The Paperback Prince (new)

Jon (scottreadsit) | 5707 comments Mod
I have an ARC of the second and I did read it. I don't think that was explained. Aether is like some intense lightning thing that is very destructive.

Enjoy this book - it may not be the easiest thing to read but if you take any college English course you will be reading it again. Also check out M. Crighton's Eater's of the Dead. It will definitely get you interested in the original Beowulf.
