I think I'll start Eragon (Inheritance, #1) by Christopher Paolini next

Alex | 125 comments I'm hoping that I can get through all the books on my to-read shelf over the summer. I have a lot! But, I love reading, so it's not like I'll be miserable.

I didn't like it at the beginning because it felt too much like other faery books, but once the Iron fey entered the story, I started liking it a lot more. Very unique. I don't like Ash though. Puck for the win.

I started [bookcover:Cinder|11235712] last night. I'm really excited because I love Cinderella and there's hardly any adaptations of it out there.

Good luck on The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I found that the first 100-150 pages were really slow and hard to get into. I talked to a few other people and they seemed to think about the same. Once you can manage to get past that it gets pretty interesting.

I 100% agree but once you get into it you can't stop. I love all of Steig Larsson's books and I am truly sad that he passed away!

Karina I had to re-read the Prologue three times -_-
But Thanks I will keep that in mind!

I was a few years younger when i attempted to read it. Hmm...I like her writing and stories. I wouldn't consider myself a fan only because I haven't read much of her work. If you like romantic books then i think you'll end up enjoying her books. Don't quote me because I could be wrong but I think most of her books deal with women's role in society.

I read it around that age as well and I really enjoyed it. The language was a little hard to get through but I liked it.

I'm gonna pick up Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis from the library and get started on that one.

Tricia | 352 comments Well, I suppose it's time to finish up a bunch of books that I started and kept putting down... Most of these are fairly large so there won't be as many reviews from me in the near future, lol.

But here's what I am trying to finish up:

The Adventure Of The Cardboard Box by Arthur Conan Doyle (This one is somewhere in the timeline of the Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes but is not included in the edition that I have, so it is a separate book)

The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle (almost finished with this one, but want to read Cardboard Box first since it's part of the chronology)

Inheritance (Inheritance, #4) by Christopher Paolini (I've had this one since Christmas and am only about 100 pages into it...)

Dracula by Bram Stoker

Camille by Tess Oliver (I'm going to give this one another shot... couldn't get into it before but will give it one more try)

The Moonlit Mind A Tale of Suspense by Dean Koontz (I love Dean Koontz but got distracted by some series releases... Want to finish this one before beginning Odd Apocalypse)

A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire, #3) by George R.R. Martin (was reading the series straight through and got burned out...time to finsih it, though)
