I read Before I fall. I liked it but didn't think it was anything amazing.

☮Artemis(I'm a Shawol)♬✨ (thalia98) | 287 comments I am reading Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins again.

I'd say 3.5 Stars, Scott. The Eleventh Plague was a fun read but I couldn't give it 4-Stars because of the characters and the fact that the plotting was a little uneven. That said, it's just possible though this unevenness is because the book is part of a series.

==============

Oh yeah. Just finished Rot & RuinRot & Ruin and Tomorrow, When the War Began. Both worth reading. (I thought they were better than 11th Plague, Scott)

Rot & Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry and Tomorrow, When the War Began (Tomorrow, #1) by John Marsden

I love Unwind. It;s so creepy though."

Haven't read creepy in a while, so I like that!

It seems odd to me...it's really not a movie story line.

I finished it a while ago and it was heartbreaking. Tabitha Suzuma is an amazing writer. The book was very convincing, despite the topic of the story being taboo.
I'd also like to read The Forest of Hands and Teeth! But I'm doubting if I should read it because I'd hate it if the pacing is slow, even if the story is brilliant.

I did like The Giver. It was one of those books where the tone of the writing fit the subject so well. The words were well chosen, the grammar almost childish, which fit the character who was only 11 when the story began. That tone served to make the horror all the more palpable. It was a different sort of read from all the dystopias that have been on my list.

I was one lucky dogg, Scott. I entered a contest and won. I think it was here on GR, although I did enter another one that the publisher was holding on their website. Delightful surprise.

I'm halfway through it, but I still don't see what's so good about it yet. But someone told me it takes a while for the story to take off, so I guess I'd better not judge it so easily. It's kinda slow-paced though.

Love PPL too, just finished "Perfect" yesterday and it was so sad that A- hit Hanna with a car because Hanna knew who A- was. I was clinging to my seat waiting for the moment for A- to get revealed. But no Hanna got hit by a car because of A-. So annoying of Sara Shepard to leave the book again as a cliffhanger!
