I am sure she is working on it. When I was in England Poldark was very popular and fans demanded more and more so he ended up writing 20 books but they went down hill and more downhill and the characters changed as they became the descendants. I did read most all of them and bought the movies too....$150.00 at that time!
In the very best books written some things are left to the imagination. Think about Gone with the Wind. Each person can create a few things for themselves about these books.

have you read the Host yet? I asked for it for Christmas. My sister says its her very best work.

The Host
I think she's left the door wide open for more books in the series. But I don't think they would get the main actors to commit to doing follow up movies especially since she doesn't have anything in the works.
I would love to read more! It would be interesting for her to write about what happens with Jacob and Renesmee. That could be a whole book in itself. However, I wouldn't see the corresponding movies unless the original cast was involved.
I also would love to read more and I hope she is working on one. I would prefer to read Midnight Sun more than anything else at this point. just the few pages I read online were delightful.

What a wonderful idea. I would love that.

Good idea!

I think she left the door wide open for a series involving Jacob and Renesemee and that is the obvious direction she planned on going. But, I think she is probably a writer that goes on instinct and if that instinct changes - who knows what she will do. I'm surprised she has waited so long to release something else. I mean I know The Host came out, but that preceded Twilight. I would love to read Midnight Sun, but I'm sure her publishers want her to release a new series (more money in that). I'm just NOT finished with Twilight - so, I wish she would give us something: Jacob and Renesemee, Midnight Sun - anything!!
I hope she is able to be writing but creativity can be exhausting. I hope Stephenie doesn't burn out from being pushed. She was so smart to keep her book secret for so long.
I still love the Twilight series. I read it at least once a year, and watch the movies quite often (will not admit how often). I know Stephanie has taken a lot of grief over the years. I hope she realizes just how talented she is and creative. Not to mention how many lives she has touched. I think the series can mean a lot of different things to different people, including me. I am so excited about the anniversary book with new story! I would love, in the future, to know more about Charlie & Billy's perspective. Think that would be a neat angle to view things from.
