Ok...here are the rules -

*You ABSOLUTELY CANNOT look up the answers on the internet ... or anywhere for that matter!

*The first person to answer (correctly) is the round winner and gets to post their own question.

*If you win a round you are responsible for notifying the new winner, who will then ask their question.

*Questions must pertain to the english language (spelling, grammar, meaning, etc...).

So here goes -

What is the only word in the english language to contain, not only ALL the vowels, but ALL the vowels in order?

Kitty Austin (kittyhoneycutt) OMG! Ok so I wracked my brain on this one big time then started thinking about it. I actually use this word a lot and I don't even know why. LOL But I'm going to go with facetious F-A-C-E-T-I-O-U-S.

That would be the one! It's the only tough one I know - I'm going to struggle after this. And it didn't even turn out to be all that tough!!!

Kitty - ROUND 1 WINNER! You're up. Take your time : )

message 6: by Claudine (new)

Claudine I think you got it Kitty. I cannot think of another word with the vowels in that order.

Kitty Austin (kittyhoneycutt) Ok I have it, this one pertains to books so I'm sure someone will figure it out right off.

What was the name most commonly referred to by Anne Frank when writing in her diary, in other words, what was her diaries name?

I fear 'tis a great responsibility placed upon your shoulders.
(I don't know why I'm talking like that) lol...

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

So for anyone not caught up, the latest question (brought to us by Kitty) is -

"What was the name most commonly referred to by Anne Frank when writing in her diary, in other words, what was her diaries name?"

message 26: by Meagan (new)

Meagan | 8 comments I think the answer is "Kitty."

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

I do believe that is correct! I had to look it up. So, Meagan, your turn ... Stump us with a language question.

*Questions must pertain to the english language (spelling, grammar, meaning, etc...).

message 32: by Meagan (new)

Meagan | 8 comments Sorry, I have been crazy busy with work. Also, it took me forever to come up with a good question.

What is the common sentence that uses every letter of the alphabet?

mmm ... that's a good one. I have no idea lol.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Meagan wrote: "I think the answer is "Kitty.""

Yes, I thought she wrote Dear Kitty.

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

It might be "The quick red fox jumped over the lazy brown dog" which we had to type over and over in typing class. There is another one too but I cannot think of it at the moment.

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

I really want to win one 'cause I think I've got a good question lol!

I don't see an 'S' in there : )

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean wrote: "I really want to win one 'cause I think I've got a good question lol!

You are good! I don't see s either but we were told this sentence had the whole alphabet. So I may have typed it wrong. I have no idea for one so I would much prefer you do the question. Maybe it was jumps over the lazy brown dog.....its been ages.

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Meagan, I often do not get on at the weekend either but my sore throat came back so my husband went off without me to have fun today. Its OK as I need to rest and do the quiz :-)
