It is kind of a vague age group, probably between 10 and 300,000,000.
Honestly, anyone of any generation can enjoy it.I'm still rereading the Emily Windsnap series(grouped in the 8-12 age group),and I'm almost 14.it all depends on your own taste as a reader, really.

I think Rick Riordan's (at least Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and The Kane Chronicles) can be read at any age, really. I don't think I'll ever get sick of them...

You had me worried for a minute there.

I liked the book, there is a person I know who is reading it right now and she is in her early 20's

Well actually that would kinda make sense because the people who read percy jackson in the early years are like 16 now so maybe that's what he needs to do. Not like super inappropriate or anything but just maybe for an older group of people

Yeah cause I'm 14 and I still like the series he writes but I don't like them as much as I did when I was a kid cause it's kinda childish but awesome at the same time. Does that make sense?

I agree, to an extent. J.K. Rowling (a fellow brit) first wrote Harry Potter for children, and now she just released an adult book, The Casual Vacancy. This seems a bit daft, for the children who just enjoyed Harry Potter will now try and read The Casual Vacancy, which is certainly not appropriate. However, I do not see the problem with writing a series for ten year olds, then sixteen year olds. All the ten year olds, when they are grown up, will want to read more books by that author. I think that it just depends on the ages.
