Abigail I am 15 years old, I liked the Percy Jackson series, but I read them when I was like 10, I'm just curious if this series if for that age group or if it's a good read for mid teens as well. Also do the characters get older, like they do in the Percy Jackson series?

Katelyn vitale Yeah its not bad for kids and im 13 and i enjoyd it very much i mean its not that bad

It is kind of a vague age group, probably between 10 and 300,000,000.

Isabella (All Da Ladies Luv Leo) Thomas its for 3yearolds!!!!!!!!!!!

Faithful Ojelabi it's for any age to read it.

Honestly, anyone of any generation can enjoy it.I'm still rereading the Emily Windsnap series(grouped in the 8-12 age group),and I'm almost 14.it all depends on your own taste as a reader, really.

Halle Oh no. It's full of drugs, violence, racism, and the romance goes too far. At least sixteen years old.

Halle I'm totally JUST KIDDING for those who didn't get it.

I think Rick Riordan's (at least Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and The Kane Chronicles) can be read at any age, really. I don't think I'll ever get sick of them...

I liked the book, there is a person I know who is reading it right now and she is in her early 20's

Dylan Portelli I think that an author should focus on one particular age group. Not write a series for 10 year olds, and then a series for 16 year olds. It just doesn't make any sense.

Well actually that would kinda make sense because the people who read percy jackson in the early years are like 16 now so maybe that's what he needs to do. Not like super inappropriate or anything but just maybe for an older group of people

Dylan Portelli I guess that is true.

Yeah cause I'm 14 and I still like the series he writes but I don't like them as much as I did when I was a kid cause it's kinda childish but awesome at the same time. Does that make sense?

Emma Porter No, I don't think so. It depends on the maturity of the reader honestly. I'm fifteen and I loved this book.

I agree, to an extent. J.K. Rowling (a fellow brit) first wrote Harry Potter for children, and now she just released an adult book, The Casual Vacancy. This seems a bit daft, for the children who just enjoyed Harry Potter will now try and read The Casual Vacancy, which is certainly not appropriate. However, I do not see the problem with writing a series for ten year olds, then sixteen year olds. All the ten year olds, when they are grown up, will want to read more books by that author. I think that it just depends on the ages.
