Editor Needed

Does anyone know an affordable editor that will help me with my novel? I don't have a lot of money and I don't just my friends and family for an honest opinion. Thanks.

Affordable really depends on how much you can spend. Are you looking for someone to edit it for free, or are you willing to spend a few hundred for a seasoned editor?

I agree with Doc - it depends. I know I have worked with authors to come to an agreeable arrangement for editing their works. This varies from price per word to price per piece, and depends on length of the manuscript.

I also know a friend of mine does editing work in a similar fashion (her name's Amy Eye - http://theeyesforediting.com/).

I have a friend who does editing at the rate of $5/1000 words. If this is affordable for you, you can find her at http://www.chocolatescotch.com/this-i.... I haven't used her services yet, so I can't give you any information one way or the other.
