SOLVED. Vampires are Aliens [s]

Vampire's are actually an Alien race that came to Earth thousands of years ago. I only read the synopsis of this book and meant to buy it, but I've forgotten which book it is! any help appreciated

This is the case in the Alien Huntress series, which starts with Awaken Me Darkly, but as far as I recall the vampires only pop up in book 4 Seduce the Darkness

there's also ee knight's vampire earth set. They had come a while back,the invasion just happens in the near future Way of the Wolf
