I also think Rupert and Emma did a great job with their characters. Rupert really got the quirkyness of Ron and, esp. in the last movie, represented the hurt and resentment he was going to when he started to become jealous and left out. Emma really embraced Hermione and you could tell that she was just as smart and witty as Hermione, and she cared about her character, she really wanted her story told. She also portrayed how strong Hermione became over the years: this was really represented starting from the fifth movie.
I also think the rest of the cast really took on their characters, I can't name a bad pick off the top of my head right now. The major stand outs are of course Matthew (Neville), Evanna (Luna), Tom (Malfoy), and Alan Rickman, who just embodied Snape wholeheartedly and made him as cold and heartbreaking as he was in the books.

No, I agree. Daniel Radcliffe wasn't the best, and I really didn't like Bonnie Wright as Ginny. She's too passive--she's supposed to be an awesome, well-liked fighter!

Another person who ruined a character was Gary Oldman, this guy just screamed and wailed right and left in the shrieking shack scene and was simply a lunatic. Last I checked the one thing that set Sirius from other azkaban dwellers was that he didn't go completely crazy.

I totally agree with you about Dumbledore. Richard Harris did a great job, but Gambon ruined the character. Also, Emma Watson as Hermione and who ever plays professor McGonagal are awesome. (Those are my three favorite characters, btw) And Fred and George are AMAZING!!! Plus Nevile and Luna were awesome too. I guess Rupert Grint did portray Ron well (I'm not much of a Ron fan). Daniel Radcliff was ok as Harry. I'm pretty sure Emma Watson is my favorite, though.

But if I must choose my top 2:
-Alan Rickman; Snape.
-Helena Bonham-Carter; Bellatrix.

Really because I can't imagine Harry Potter being played by anyone else. If you could explain more why you don't like Daniel Radcliffe that would be great.

I also liked the Dumbledore in the first two movies rather than his replacement. Michael Gambon (Dumblebore #2) seemed too jumpy while Richard Harris (Dumbledore #1) seemed wise and powerful.

I agree. Although, I did like the Irish accent that Micheal Gambon added to Dumbledore. I also think he was okay in the 7th and 6th.

the best: Snape, Draco
the worst: Ginny, Bellatrix
I didn't like Draco (as character) in the book, and neither in the movie. But Tom Felton did a great job in portraying Draco. I first recognized it in the last movie, but looking back, he did a good job even in the first movie. he was exactly the way how Draco was in the books.
Snape was definitely the best, as he IS after all Alan Rickman. God, he is scary.
I think Neville was good in previous movies, but kind of lost his character by the 5th one. not that he wasn't good, but lost his clumsyness.
from the trio Rupert displayed Ron the best, then Ema. But I too don't like Daniel that much.
other good ones: Umbridge (that enoyiness, how did she do that?), nearlyheadless Nick, Victor Krum, Molly, I liked Oliver Wood too, McGonnagal and the Weasley twins.
and the bad ones: Bellatrix (horrible, never imagined her that crazy, I know she was mad, but this was just too much), Tonks (was on the other hand too normal), Myrtle, Ginny (horrible, worst, bad....).
Regarding Dumbledore, I actually liked the second one. Was more quirky or something.

The only thing I didn't liked was the way they portraited Dumbledore in the 4th movie. When he yelled at Harry when his name popped out of the Goblet of Fire.

BEST:
Alan Rickman (the best)
The twins (the coolest)
Gary Oldman (Oh cmon... He completely portrays the cool godfather)
Helena Bonham-Carter (that madness...)
Rupert Grint
WORST:
Bonnie Wright, out and out. Come on, Ginny is supposed to be so bloody cool!

I completely agree! Bonnie Wright is awful. She's so passive.
I LOVE them all except for Bonnie Wright. she wasn't terrible, but I just didn't like her very much! Emma Watson was my favorite!!! I think she's AMAZING!!!
