I would be friends with Claire. She's more caring and compassionate. Definitely what I would look for in a friend.
I would be friends with Claire, bc she's more "real" than Massie! So I would pick Claire,like Valerie said she's compassionate and she ain't got a bitchy attitude like Massie..I would only be friends with Massie just to borrow her closet LOL
i'd be friendds with both, after all, Claire eventully becomes friends with Massie!
I guess I would be friends with both, they are both kind of silly ... interpret that however you want.
I would be friends with MASSIE she has waaaay better fashion taste than cuh-laire. even i f massie is a brat most of the time. that girl knows where to shop!

The only reason I say both, is because Claire is obviously a BETTER friend, but Massie is wayyy more fun to be around.

I would be friends with both. I mean Claire does become friends with Massie so whats the point of picking between them? But if I was going to be like on of them it would be Massie :)

I think Massie and Claire because they are both great girls. Massie is soo fab but she can't handle another Alpha so probably I would be her friend but not her follower. Claire seems more normal and down to Earth but she still needs some glitz only the Pretty Committee has ;)
Massie, because although she can be mean at times, she's can be nice at others. And then she also seems to care about her friends. Claire would do anything to be popular, so if I were friends with her and not Massie she'd ditch me.

DEFINITELY Claire! I can relate to her a lot more, plus she's a lot more fun to be around than Massie. No offense to Massie fans!
I don't want to be friends with both girls, because Massie is mean and too self-absorbed and Claire is too weak and too unsure (even she is much more pleasant than Massie).
I would pick Claire because she has a kind heart.
i rather be friends with Claire. she looks like a true friend who wouldn't stab you in the back. massie looks like she would ditch you for a better offer. Claire is a true friend to Layne and massie when they eventually become friends later on in the series. Claire looks like she would have your back when you need her to. Massie is always betraying her friends but Claire wouldn't do that!:D

You know, even tho Massie and her friends were so cruel to Claire in the first 2 or 3 books that does not say it will be like that forever.The other books Massie was more than a sister to her and in one book Massie even mentioned that ! I would be like Claire. Trying to be friends with Massie and it worked out ! So I would be friends with Massie and Claire.

I would choose Kristen. She doesn't let the fact that she's poor hold her down. And she is pretty awesome.

And Claire is cool but she's TOO much of a push over.
Massie, because she is nice in all once you get to know her, and Kuh-laire because she's sweet and perfect in every way. So both! I wish Kuh-laire wasn't so uptight tho....

I know right in "My little Phony" Clarie was getting revenge on Massie for lying about Claire's lice problem.Even as she was putting the the bugs in her bed she was having seconds thoughts.She needs to learn that in life not every one is your friend.

Both I feel are extremely shallow. I mean, I understand why Claire seems to be the "good" one, but I feel like no matter what was happening, she always wanted the shallow girls rather than her friends who stayed with her. She technically was nicer than Massie, I suppose, but she was so... Ugh. Like, she was always wanting to be friends with someone so she'd be popular. I suppose in the end, it turned to real friendship, but Layne was always there for her, yet she apparently wished she was cool, with Massie and the clique...
