Meghan (meghanly) | 336 comments I'm guessing that this is probably a very stupid question with a very simple answer... but I can't seem to figure it out! How do I know what number my post in a thread is? For example, our readerboard says "updated through #50"... how do I know which post is #50?

Thanks all! :)

Lahni | 312 comments At the top of each individual post in the left hand corner is the post #. It technically says "message 1: by (name of poster)". I hope that's clear.

In the shaded box above your name it says "message 1"- that is post 1 in this topic

Bea However, Megahnly, the post number does not show when you initially post. To see it, go first to any other page and then come back. When you return, your new post will have a number. I make a note in my excel spreadsheet of the post number so I can go right to it later if there is a question. Also, the mods usually post through the end of a page.

Dee (austhokie) | 8947 comments you can also just refresh the page and it will give it a number
