Has anyone read this? I am half-way through and really enjoying it. Marina Endicott is an Edmonton author (like me) - I'm really concerned about Dolly - poor kid.

I read it a little while ago - I really enjoyed it, particularly Claire's character. I find her very appealing because she is so human; she is flawed, but she is working on things!
It took me a while to get into this one, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Read this book recently and very much enjoyed it. Admired the courage of Claire to step into the void and care for these kids. And the gift they gave her was wonderful. Her actions when the mother got better were so genuine. Feel the children will be so much better for having known her. Glad their story continues.
