I just finished The Road to Jonestown: Jim Jones and Peoples Temple last night. It was interesting and I learned a lot, but the end is just...sad.
I'm starting The Tea Party by Charles L. Grant.
After very much enjoying Charles L. Grant's The Tea Party, I started Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood which is SO funny! I'm about to start listening to a poetry collection as well:
I'm listening to
right now and it's pretty good. I'm trying to figure out who really did it but can't haha.
ATM, I am listening to a German translation of Arabian Nights, which is based on the oldest Arabian original fragment of the tales. It ends somewhere short of the 300th night...
I just finished this one and thought it was pretty good, just not as good as I had been expecting. I'm starting
I finished
and thought it was pretty good! I've started listening to
. This is a re-read for me and it's mostly because I love Campbell Scott the narrator.
I've been listening to Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann

I finished listening to The Republic of Thieves which was excellent on audio. This is the third book in the series and the same narrator voices them all. He's excellent.I'm now listening to some 70's horror: The Auctioneer and it's so freaking good, I don't want to stop listening until I'm done.

I enjoyed The Auctioneer....although I read a dead tree version. Narrator pretty good?

I'm starting We Are Legion (We Are Bob), narrated by Ray Porter. I don't think I've listened to anything he's narrated before but I love him already.Edited to add: I did listen to one of his narrations: Silver Linings Playbook and I loved it. :)
Just listened to a dystopian future tale on Drabblecast. It's not really a book but it's a good tale all the same: 'Jimmy's Roadside Cafe' by Ramsey Shehadeh, in Drabblecast Director’s Cut Special: Jimmy’s Roadside Cafe.
Philip wrote: "About to start Joe Hill’s The Fireman."I loved Kate Mulgrew's narration of that one. Hope you do too.
I'm doing a re-read of The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. (I'm playing Halloween Bingo over at Booklikes and this will fill my Classic Horror square.)
I listened to a couple of podcasts of two short stories (both science fiction) by Eddie D. Moore. The first is 'Traveling Man' and it appears in 600 Second Saga, S2.9. The second is 'Rose’s Robot” and can be heard at Manawaker Studio’s Flash Fiction Podcast for 2018-08-16.
Really enjoying this one so far :)
Finished
last week & really loved it! The author does an excellent job narrating, I'm adding more books that he's narrated to my to listen list.
I listened to
and it was brutal, violent, sexy, funny and political. It wasn't my normal cup of tea, but I like a change every once in a while. Now I'm listening to
.

Char wrote: "Now I'm listening to For We Are Many (Bobiverse, #2) by Dennis E. Taylor."Gotta love the Bobiverse...enjoyed the first still haven't gotten to the rest.
