It was interesting and I learned a lot, but the end is just...sad.

ATM, I am listening to a German translation of Arabian Nights, which is based on the oldest Arabian original fragment of the tales. It ends somewhere short of the 300th night...

Char | 17498 comments I finished listening to The Republic of Thieves which was excellent on audio. This is the third book in the series and the same narrator voices them all. He's excellent.

I'm now listening to some 70's horror: The Auctioneer and it's so freaking good, I don't want to stop listening until I'm done.

I enjoyed The Auctioneer....although I read a dead tree version. Narrator pretty good?

He's excellent! (He also narrated McDowell's BLACKWATER, and that's my all time favorite audio. So far.)

Char | 17498 comments I'm starting We Are Legion (We Are Bob), narrated by Ray Porter. I don't think I've listened to anything he's narrated before but I love him already.

Edited to add: I did listen to one of his narrations: Silver Linings Playbook and I loved it. :)

Greg | 1680 comments I listened to a couple of podcasts of two short stories (both science fiction) by Eddie D. Moore. The first is 'Traveling Man' and it appears in 600 Second Saga, S2.9. The second is 'Rose’s Robot” and can be heard at Manawaker Studio’s Flash Fiction Podcast for 2018-08-16.

Finished The Nightmare Room (The Messy Man #1) by Chris Sorensen last week & really loved it! The author does an excellent job narrating, I'm adding more books that he's narrated to my to listen list.

Now I'm listening to For We Are Many (Bobiverse, #2) by Dennis E. Taylor .
