I remember when all F.F. did like a novel about a crazy hotel where we took turns in creating series of stories and characters and interacted. I did not really follow up because I got tired of drug references and the octopus that Ben Loory came up with in one room and became obsessed with. Maybe give that an another shot? Or come up with a playscript and then do the play at the next Dorka?
I think that's a genius idea, Patrick, and we should do it!
The Group Challenge is more like the Personal Challenge thing on Goodreads, though. It's only captures info about number of books read, but you can decide what sort of category, etc.

There are also more complex challenges like the Seasonal Reading Challenge (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/2...), but that's not really a technical feature of GR.
my challenge for 2018 is to read 50 books. something old something new something borrowed some thing blue. not really keen on the blue part as i tend to get impatient with sad stories. im thinking the glass castle by jeanette walls. my granddaughter recommended it. Id also love to do a book exchange for the something borrowed part. the old and new will have to be suggested by others.
Picked up the glass castle today. It's a ya nonfiction. That's my blue. Last week I finished the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy not ancient but I'm counting it as old. 1979 I was still running with the devil. Its dated a lot of the humour was lost on me. Also picked up today The restaurant at the end of the universe. I don't think I'll read the whole series. Still up for a group challenge or read. also suggestion for something borrowed something new.

What do you think? Is this a feature that we'd use? Can you think of any group challenges that would be fun/interesting/useful?
