As the token male in this conversation, I thought I should speak for Dimitri. Rose is kind of a major pain in the butt. Then again, MacKayla Lane from Darkfever isn't much better.

Yep, they're pretty good. I'm on the 4th book in the series now. It has the Fae in it, and not vampires. Some of my friends are obsessed with the series although I know a couple who don't care for it. But if you like VA, you'll probably like the Darkfever books.

I think Rose made the right decision. If she would have become Strigoi, she could have killed innocent people, maybe even Lisa. Dimitri specifically told her to kill him if he became Strigoi, because he couldn't bear to think that he would be hurting the people he grew up to protect. He would be even more angry if Rose sacrificed additional people's lives(including hers) to be with him. Besides, I dont believe Strigoi are ever able to really feel love, just wanting and lust.
Rose is strong for resisting him, and even if she had to kill Dimitri, she would have always had Adrian.

I don't know. Am I the only one who read about the strigoi and thought, meh, it wouldn't be that bad to be one? I mean, I get it. Rose didn't want to kill anyone. But I mean, when she was trapped in that room with Dimitri and he was asking her to become a Strigoi, I was screaming at my book, "YES!YES!SAY YES!" ._. Idk. Maybe I'm just weird like that.
