Thank you, Lisa Kay! I'm kind of a slow reader so I'm not sure how much help I will be but this sounds fun and I want to help the group reach their goal. :) Just a quick question, should I start from now or should I include all the romance books I've already read this year, before I joined the challenge?
You can start from January 1st, if you want, Rachel. If it isn't too much trouble. ☺ I'll go check out your thread.

Wow, you go, Lisa Kay! :) I chose a measly 100. lol I'm slow but also once the new semester starts in Sept I won't have as much time to read the books I want to read. That's why I'm so excited about this summer break - I get to relax and read for fun. Freedom!!! (view spoiler)

Hey Lisa Kay...I am only up to 59....for some reason the system added 2 books to my read list! I think it wants me to get done! I will most likely be 60/150 by the end of tonight! but I am not as lucky as to be at 61 yet! I changed the status of one of the books back to currently reading, and for some reason neither of the 2 books I added have come off the status list! don;t know what to make of it! I only started them yesterday...there is no way I could have finished either one by today...especially since I have others that I am also reading...and almost finished with!so just put me in for 60!

I did that..didn't work! first I changed the status from "read" to "to be read"...not realising that the date was already added too! so I went back and cleared the date....it didn't remove them from the count...so now what?!?!?
I'm about to get nerdy here:To read 5,000 books in a year, on average we'd have to read 96 books a week. So far we have read on average 137 books a week (Yep, I did the math). Which means that if we keep it up we'll finish by the first or second week of September! And by year's end we will have read a total of: 7,124 books! O.O

If that still doesn't work, I would just delete the book and start over. Something is hinkey with it.

ok....Lisa Kay...you are a super genious! I removed both dates, and re-added the start date..and it cleared it! YAY!!
