I agree Callahan. Plus, those issues are effecting alot less people than the economy, war, health care, etc.
yeah so you think some big bang made every lock of hair on your head. u think a big bang made the solar system with every ittle detail.you think that some one just made the bible up
and it is not real.
well you will never know because you will not go to heaven.
my uncle was gay too, and the bible also says that we have free will, and free will means our choice, such as how we marry

Ya, Olivia. But there is a place where u draw the line at the right to free speech. You can say anything u want as long as its true. u dont no if that is true or n ot so DONT EVEN TALK!
I am on a quest to join as many debate groups as I can that don't have a whole lot of posts.
I am an atheist. I have a few gay people in my family and you know what? THEY ROCK. They are still people and still humans, but people act like they aren't. "Oh, they shouldn't be allowed marry." "They'll go to hell." "They're gross." (mostly taken from other groups). Would you like to be told you couldn't marry someone you loved because some people were SCARED of you? Because that's the reason people hate gays, plain and simple. They're afraid. Because people are different. That's a horrible reason to keep people from marrying the person they love. That's one of the WORST reasons.
As for gays "going to hell," if hell even exists, then I'm sure they'd rather go to hell than go to heaven with all the gay haters and terrorists (who have excepted god into their lives!) and George W. Bush. I know I'd rather go to "hell" and party with the atheist scientists! And I'm used to the heat. I would have so much more fun than worshiping some person who thinks he's better than everyone else and causes pain on humans and lets innocent people die. If god is so forgiving, why does he let innocent people suffer and animals die without feeling bad? There's your almighty, loving god in a nutshell.
That felt good. :D
