I think I'll start one once I'm done with revolution and then hopefully one on the first.I'm just not sure which one to read first. Eat, pray, Love?
I decided that since this was a holiday season I should read a contemporary holiday book. I opened A Christmas Box at 3:30 this morning and finished about 5:15 am. Quick & sweet & it teaches a lesson for the holidays.
= 125 pages
Back to Revolution @ page 304. Tonight I will start and hopefully finish the prequel to The Christmas Box... Timepiece.
I loved Shipbreaker. The guy telling the story had a great voice! ;) huge plus! I'll prob listen to it again.

it's a huge book and will probably take me all month to finish reading to them. On page 79/563{Tentative up Next}

Isn't he so cute though? So vulnerable though...
He is adorable. Andrius, I'd love that boy too. He endures and is strong. I wasn't expecting for the story to turn out like this.
Hey M.S. I just wanted to thank you for mentioning on one of the discussions that you listen to audiobooks as you work on knitting projects. An idea so simple, yet I would never have thought of it. And can I just say, this idea is brilliant and very much productive on my reading list and my belated Christmas projects! So thanks! =)
You are welcome. I'm a single mother of three boys who don't know how to sit still. I have to find creative ways to expand ME time and knitting while I listen just seemed to be relaxing and productive all at once. I too used it to hammer out some Christmas gifts ;)

I've never read a Sherlock Holmes book, I'm thinking this will be a fun read! {Current Listen}
Ok... I've been picking up crappy, well boring books. So I opened up another to get me out of the rut. It is just tooo early in the year for this!
This is the fourth in the Jane True series, the 5th comes out this year!Counts for 1.) one of the colors red or purplish blue 2.) Further in the series 12x12 3.) US roadtrip - Maine 4.) 300+ pages

I've read this one and now listened to it. I highly recommend this fun Steampunkery book.{Started Listening}

I love the snark so so much! I, nor you, could go wrong with the Jane True Series!{Still Reading}
It really is sort of boring :(
Started in on India. Yes, finally to part/book two! Another rather boring book, with at least pockets of interest.
Mmmmm....that is kind of sad to hear about Eat. Pray. Love. I still am debating to pick it up. But right now I am reading already one rather boring book...which I would be further in if I actually really wanted to read it...Good luck with the surgery! I hope you feel better quickly! Or at least well enough to get some good reading in.

But it makes me upset to see her whine so much about her good life. When not only I, but others, have crappy homes, jobs, health & all that but we still smile and make do. Yes, I'm sure we all wish we had better love, better jobs that make us feel good, and all that but to listen to her... I want to slap her. LOL! Shake her and say look all around. If you really hate this, all you have, then stop blithering with suicide and leave.
But I love the description of Italy and the people who she met. It is a catch 22.

My boyfriend went to Italy about a year after we started dating and I have been dying to go since before then. I am excited to go and see all the beautiful landscapes and tourist attractions. (What can I say I am a little cliche...)
Not too much. There is so much history there I don't know why it would not be a stop on the travel list. The India section isn't all that bad. ;)
Update:I went into the hospital early this morning. I had so much pain. They ended up doing the surgery today instead of on Tuesday. I'm still at the hospital. no reading. I can't concentrate but I hope in the long run I'll be better.
Yeah, hopefully you'll be back soon, I still want to read The Stand or some other Stephen King with you!
I'm still in China. It's been slow going and hard to get onto goodreads. It is banned here. Oh no if you read more then graphic novels with big crested girls with teal hair! But I'll see if I have it on my nook and might be able to start reading the stand if I do: I should be able to get on goodreads more often now.
What is the Mad Scientist reading in China???I wish I can say I read alot but alas it has been a reading rut that I can't even fathom. UGH... I must have loss of reading energy since I'm not surrounded by my beautiful books!
I have recently started
by Darren Shan &
by Melissa Marr. It is a slow beginning. If you have suggestions for a fast paced page flipper. Now would be the time! If I can get my hands on it here.Did finish...
& some other ones I can't remember.
Started and finished in a day an a half.
This one was pretty good. A few predictable things and a few surprising plot twists. Overall, I'm thinking a 3.5

I would prefer to read it over the summer though, before the Fall semester starts for me.
Sounds good. I will be back on US soil July 16th.I've been here since Febuaray teaching oral English at a university.
It was a very quick read. You could finish it in one day on the weekend. And cute. I really liked it. I'm just glad it was cheap. I would of wanted more if it was expensive.Finished the
and loved it! I'm going to see if I can create something like this for the boys to do when we travel. We will be headed off to places I already know but they wont know. Should be fun. Why didn't you make me read this one earlier? LOL!
LOL! I just read it last month myself. I loved it; I'm sure the boys would love it if you did something like this!And that's good to know. I have two books I want to finish first, then I'll start Epic Fail.
I want to get the second book.
but not sure if I will wait tell I get home and see if I can get it used. Such a quick read, it it was like the first.
