Every time Virginia goes to the dancing club On The Edge , vampire Anando draws her into a sensual dance that doesn't end until morning and in his bed. This time, though, they might not make it out of the club before the heat reaches new heights
Kallysten is a writer of romance novels and short stories, most of them with paranormal elements.
Her first eBooks were published by Linden Bay Romance in 2005. The defunct Venus Press subsequently published a few of her short stories. Because so many of her stories are linked as series and part of the same universe, she decided it would make sense to have them all in the same place, which is why she self-published, first with the co-op Alinar Publishing and now on her own. When she sees calls for submissions that speak to her muse, she sometimes tries for them, and was published this way by Samhain and Torquere.
This short story happens between Out of the Box 5 and Out of the Box 6.
"Do you think someone is watching?"
Virginia had barely kept herself away from the club all week. She managed not to go but she could resist no longer. It was Friday and it was time to finally allow herself the pleasure of seeing Anando. This would be her sixth, or perhaps maybe her seventh. Who could keep track at this point? Mot her. Not when their "...encounters just seem(ed) to merge together in her mind to form one glorious night of unending pleasure."
This time Virginia's and Anando's encounter happens at the club instead of Anando's house. I liked the change of scene and the added excitement that the possibility of being seen caused.
Yet again a great read from Kallysten. I've decided that I just have to read everything that she's written. Why wouldn't I? She never seems to disappoint me.
