What do you think Mrs.Everdeen thought about the whole love triangle thing? Do you think she believed everything Peeta said during the interviews? Or is she just as clueless as the others?

she was the first one to say something to katniss about her loving gale- right after he was whipped...
True..but did she mean friend love or romantic love?
hmmm...I'm not sure- can't exactly remember how she said it but don't think the context indicated which she meant. I would probably guess she meant more of a platonic love, though, but I could be wrong...
Oh, you know she had a pretty good idea what was going on. She just stands back when it comes to Katniss, they have a strained relationship. (They get along, but there's issues. They aren't close.)
um..I'm sorry, but what does platonic mean?
a relationship w/o sex or romance...sorta like friendship, like you said, but can include non-friendship relationships. don't know if you'd care or not, but it comes from plato (the ancient greek philosopher), and he actually considered it to be a greater type of love than one based on erotic feelings...
sorry, I'm kinda bad for using probably-unnecessary terminology...

She probably caught onto to the romance being fake when they got back and Katniss and Peeta weren't speaking to each other. And then the complications with Gale as well when he was whipped and Katniss freaked out.
She probally knew but just kept her mouth shut to save her daughter and she probally did notice that Katniss didn't really like peeta as much as gale becasuse she apparently never metions him at all and they just leave each other alone once the press is gone
Well Katniss's relationship with Gale was strained for a bit after the Games too. It was never the same between them.
