Hi all.

Been awhile since I've started a new thread on my own, but I was recently searching the interwebs for a reading chair for my son. He's got this great space beneath his bunk bed (we've removed the bottom bed) with book shelves and a reading light. Now all we need is a chair.

I love these: http://www.funkyfurnitureandstuff.com... but they are WAY to expensive.

Then I saw these: http://www.funkyfurnitureandstuff.com... which cost about the same.

Is anyone privy to where I can find similar style chairs for a heckuva lot less????

Of course, in my searches, I found scary chairs like these:

Ack, It's going to eat me - http://www.geekologie.com/2007/08/31/...

This one gives me claustrophobia - http://www.chairblog.eu/wp-content/up...

And this one just looks to darn confusing and uncomfortable - http://www.gizmodiva.com/entry_image/...

Feel free to share your favorite or scariest reading chairs here!!

Ha Ha,those were great..."relaxing" was not the first word that came to mind with those chairs.

How about this one http://www.digsdigs.com/photos/minima... - kind of has a Noah's Ark feel to it.

Or this one http://www.digsdigs.com/photos/colorf... - reminds me of ribbon candy

Awesome! I actually just posted a blog about reading chairs and the "noah's ark" one made it on the list - check it out if you like: http://thenextbestbookblog.blogspot.c...

The ribbon candy one looks it belongs on the set of Willy Wonka!!!

Dee (austhokie) | 618 comments loved the blog post!

I don't know if they are readily available anymore - but what about an old school bean-bag chair - I had one on my room growing up and loved it...molds to the body, comfortable and cheap

Love Dee's idea of a beanbag! Perfect size, price, and comfort. Plus, the holiday season (and during back-to-school sales) is the perfect time to find them.
