Danielg If you consider yourself a good reader and you haven't read this book you've been kidding yourself. There are bad books, okay books, good books, must read books, and above it all there's The Westing Game. YOU MUST READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ana Sofía well, i wouldn't put it that high up. But this book is very much worth reading. :)

Danielg Well thanks for liking it Starburst

Arushi the book was realllly good though i think im going to re-read it. i read it three years ago...once and my details are a bit hazy. i remember loving it and not being able to put it down though :)

perhaps i should read it again, at an older age. i'd probably be able to appreciate it more anyway :)

finn The author made it confusing on purpose so that it's almost like you could right part of the story. If it wasn't confusing at all you would have figured out the answer in the begaining.

finn Ya, it was a littlwe confusing. The most confusing part was the characters and who was who and who was talking when. But I felt like the characters have really grown on me! I think Turtle is pretty cool.

Jeffrey Marks I'm teaching it to a 6th grade language arts class. I can't wait!

I hope your grade 6 class loves it as much as I do! I'm in grade 6 and I really loved it!

S.L. Wallace I have to disagree with you, Casey. I first read this book when I was in middle school. Since then I've taught it to many classes. In fact, I just finished a 4th-5th book group on the Westing Game. None of the students were confused about who was who, and they all loved the book. I think one of the brilliant aspects of this novel is that there are so many main characters who are all so unique that it's easy to keep them straight. The confusing part is the mystery itself because of all the red herrings, but that part is supposed to be confusing--that's how Mr. Westing wrote his will. It's fun to reread the will once you know the answer because it's so OBVIOUS. The answer is right there from the beginning.
