JP Capili (jpcapili) | 37 comments Not exactly how I envisioned Ender but the fact that my all-time favorite book is being adapted into a movie is good enough for me. However, if I remember correctly, Ender is supposed to be 6 or 8 years old and an american. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to watching Hugo to see this kid in action.

EDIT: after watching the trailer for Hugo, I could say that I see Ender in him. He could definitely pull off strong character emotions.

Soo (silverlyn) | 94 comments I'm excited! I hope it'll be better than Avatar... Just checked out the link & I think the child actor, Asa, has the potential to pull off being Ender. He can do the young, yet piercing gaze.

Paul Perry (pezski) | 493 comments Hmm, interesting. They were never going to make the kids as young as they are in the book, but he does look young for his age and, as Soo says, there is an intensity about him.

Matthew (mattarse) | 5 comments I've loved this book since I was a teen - and am afraid to see the movie.
I think for me it's on par with the Hitchhikers guide, I've read it too many times and imagine very specific things they will never get right.
Oh to be less critical.....
