Jenn thank you :)

We'll gladly e-mail the E-book to you in exchange for an honest review - and IF you love it as much as most of our readers do, we'd be grateful for a recommendation here at GR. We'll reciprocate in any way we can.
Thanks much!

lol - seriously - i have to ask the mother of all rhetorical questions . . . WTF???? that IS where the link goes.
The GR reader posted it at his blog, so let's try this: http://riteshkala.wordpress.com/2011/...
So, how the hell do I fix that link???

I may not have had time to start reading yet, but I'm still helping ;)

Ahhh Ritesh. Thank you so much . . . I have no idea why the link I put went to Brokeback Mountain! Wow.

Thanks, Jenn - yeah - we were very happy with that one. Ritesh is a thoughtful reader who was willing to suspend his disbelief and just let the story carry him.
That gives us the motivation we need to keep on slogging along.

Hi Suki,
I have about 11 books to review first but I would love to read and review your book if you don't mind waiting just a bit! It sounds like a book I would really enjoy. If so, my email is jwitt33@live.com and I have a Kindle. Just let me know :D

Why thank you, Cambria. It was a gamble not having a picture of an ethereal gorgeous teenager on the cover. Our protag is rough looking with wild dreadlocks and a fierce expression. Her mug probably wouldn't sell books. We love it too. ;-)

IF ONLY!!! <3

You're very welcome. Can't wait to hear what you think!

It's very long — why I rarely review. =)"
Your points are well taken. I'm grateful, stung, and blazing with determination. It's cathartic for an author to be thrust into stark objectivity. You're quite a catapult.
While most of our readers truly love our story, as evidenced by the enthusiasm in the majority of our reviews, it is inevitable that some will not. You were kind enough to explain your reasons. In so doing, you instruct and motivate. I truly appreciate the spirit behind it. I live, I learn. Growth arises from dissonance, and you've given me plenty. Thank you!!

A lot of times the dialouge didn't have the ring of truth to it, like is this really how a conversation would go? Like when Olyva called out Prime's name loudly, so MiKah would talk. I don't think that would ever happen, unless she was on crack. And then I'm thinking, maybe I don't really know this girl at all, or maybe I just don't know the world.
And I felt like there was too much dialogue. When Mikah had that long conversation with Olyvia explaining about his family, I don't think it was neccessary.

Three years for TAG... I'm not making myself look good here am I? ^^"
FYI, my review wasn't negative (IMO anyway) — a negative would be a 1-star book. The book has some pros and cons, but there weren't enough on one particular side to sway me to either side. Hence just a neutral 2-stars. Moreover, I rated it against other mainstream YA — feel to surf through my GR bookshelves for proof of this. One example is The Iron Witch — 2-starred that.
I hope I didn't crush your ego, Suki, that wasn't the point of the review. If it's any consolation, I pulled an all-nighter writing that review. Probably took me like 4-5 hours. Got bags under my eyes now — a price for writing such a long review if you think about it. =/ I finished the book a few days ago but its story was still stuck in my mind — you and your co-w must be doing something right if I still remember about TAG.
Regardless of my opinion of TAG, your book was definitely memorable and original. =) I look forward to the sequel.

Ego crushed? Eh . . that's a delicate thing in any situation, but very resilient. I just re-read all our fivers just for balance. Everything is hunky-dory, peachy-keen.

It was recently chosen as Critics Picks in two categories at Kirkus, and it's being well received here at GR.
Please PM me if you're interested, and I'll send you the E-book right away.
Thanks so much!
