vicki_girl | 2764 comments I merged the one in message 1. Both items in msg 4 are legitimate books. Items that have an ISBN starting with 294 are Barnes & Noble ebooks.

Hi Ellis. It didn't need deletion (it would have just re-imported from Amazon the next time a related search was done); it needed fixing.

In general, please don't remove ISBNs from an existing record. If another edition is needed, search by ISBN or add it manually as a new edition.

It needs to be combined with this,

Assuming that there is reason to have a Latin version (that is, not if all editions of a book are in Cyrillic or Arabic or whatever), then yes.

There are three editions. we don't remove books (or editions) from GR when they go out of print, just as a library would not remove them from their shelves. The edition that is the most popular (has been shelved/rated/reviewed the most) will show up on author pages and so on.

I have added an edition of a book, but somehow it didn't merge with the previous editions of the book. (I tried to make everything consistent! Not sure what I did wrong!)

I'm pretty sure though that the part about being a winner of an award is not supposed to be in the title of the book. It's listed in the book details and that's normally where this kind of thing goes. I'll leave this for a more experienced librarian to determine.

Also, Kindle editions don't have ISBNs. Looks like the ISBN is just for the general ebook, so I changed that as well.
