He pulled off his shirt and shorts, sleeping in his boxers and closed his eyes with a yawn.

Lucia had changed into a peach nightgown,she grabbed Derek's hand pulled it across her waist.
He moved closer to her and closed his eyes again.
Lucia smiled softly tangling her fingers in his as they slept.
Hours later, Derek eye opened to the sun.
Lucia still slept,she had moved so she was laying on her back.
Derek looked over at Lucia and smiled slightly. He sat up and got out of bed, going into the restroom.
Lucia stayed in the position she had moved to as she slept.
Derek took a shower. He smiled to himself because he needed it, he hadn't really done anything since Lucia had been gone.
Lucia sighed softly rolling on her side that faced the window.
Derek hopped in the shower and sighed, the water feelin good to his dirty skin. He began to clean himself.
Lucia heard Derek in the shower,she smiled hearing the running,"My sweet Derek.."She murmured.
Yes. He answered her mentally.
Enjoying your shower?Lucia replied.
Good.Lucia smiled.
He smiled and turned off the shower, getting out and wrapping a towel aroun his waist.
Lucia sat up with a yawn stretching.
He came into the room and went to his dresser.
He finished and turned to look at her, wearing cargo shorts and a black shirt that hugged his muscular chest. "What?"
"Nothing just missed watching you."Lucia smiled.
He smiled and sat beside her on the bed. "Ditto."
"Good."Lucia said leaning over and kissing him.
He smiled and returned her kiss softly. "It feels as though we are starting over again..." He pulled away from her slightly.
"Yeah kinda,but we know so much about each other."Lucia said looking at him.
He nodded and sighed, looking at her. "I know."
He kissed her lips again, softly and slowly.
He smiled and pulled back, resting his forehead against hers. "I love you and I've missed you like crazy Lu."
Lucia smiled as he rested his forehead against hers,"So have I."
He ran his hand through her hair and smiled.

"We should go out and have a bit of fun in the city..." Derek smiled.
Lucia looked into his eyes,"Realy,that would be fun!"
Derek smiled and nodded. "Let's just get in the car and drive."
"Ok."Lucia smiled climbing off the bed and changing into a floral strapless dress with wedges.
Derek smiled at her and walked into the kitchen, grabbing his keys.
Lucia held his hand as they soon walked out to get his keys then to his car.
Derek kissed her hand and then went around the car, getting into the drivers side.
He started the car and pulled onto the dirt path, that led to the road toward the city.
Lucia looked out the window as he drove.
Derek slowed the car at a red light, stopping. He looked at her. "I don't know my way around here. I don't really come to the city." He smiled.
Lucia looked back to him,"Dont worry,I'll help ya."
He smiled and drove when the light turned green. "Where to then?"
"Hmm,the rose garden,thats up on your third right."
Derek smiled and made a left when his turn can. "Can't recall the smell of roses." He glanced at her.
"Thats because their in a glass house."Lucia giggled.
