"Nothing. I wanted to die Lu.." He said as he pulled out a raw steak from the fridge.

"Derek,thats not right."Lucia said taking his raw steak and warming it up,"How about any blood?"
"No blood." He leaned against the counter and watched her. "Told you o wanted to die Lu. You have no idea how I felt..."
Lucia shook her head as his steak cooked slightly she walked over to him arching her neck,"Then drink now,it'll help."
He shook his head. "No. I can wait, I've waited this long." He went over to the microwave and took out the steak, eating it.
"Derek.."Lucia sighed watching him.
"Yeah?" He glanced at her as he ate.
"You need to have blood,its not right to starve yourself."Lucia said.
Derek grabbed a blood bag out of th fridge and put it in a mug and into the microwave. "There."
Lucia looked at him,"Please dont be angry for my concern."
"I'm not Lu." He finished his steak and waited for the blood.
Lucia brought her smile back,"Ok then."
He winked and got the blood, drinking it.
Lucia giggled then hopped up on the island.
He smiled and placed his mug in the sink.
Lucia sat watching him then opened her arms to him.
He smiled slightly and went to her, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Lucia wrapped her arms around his neck as his went around her waist,she smiled kissing him lightly.
He returned her kiss softly.
He pulled her closer to him, taking the scent of her.
Lucia loved him with all her heart as they kissed she laid on the counter pulling him half on her.
Derek stopped, his mind went to when he found her with her brother. He pulled away from her. "I can't."
"Why not?"Lucia asked looking at him then realizing what he was thinking.
Derek glanced away from her. "I just can't...not now Lu."
"Its that memory from when you saw me with Lance isn't it."Lucia said looking at him.
He nodded, not meeting her gaze.
"I wish I could take that away from you."Lucia said.
Derek sighed softly. "It will go away, eventually." He said softly.
"Not soon enough though."Lucia sighed sitting up.
He looked at her and smiled slightly.
He leaned into her hand and touched her face as well.
Lucia closed her eyes leaning into his hand.
Derek smiled slightly and kissed her nose.
Lucia giggled softly as he kissed her nose,his breath was warm on her nose.
He chuckled and ran his hand through her hair. "I love you Lu."
Lucia let out a soft sigh as his fingers weaved through her hair,"I love you Derek."
"Promise me you won't leave me again Lu." He pulled her close to him.
"I promise,and if I don,you come with me."Lucia said hugging him back.
He hugged her tightly. "Okay."
He picked her up in his arms and carried her to their room.
Lucia wrapped her arms around his neck as he picked her up,she heard the wood creaking as he walked to their bedroom.
He smiled and laid on the bed, getting in beside her. "I'm beat."
Lucia curled on her side,she had missed their bed,"Same here."She said with a yawn,her back to his front.
