In order to have the books show up on your challenge you have to have a date read set within the challenge dates. If you've already read them, you can add a date read to the book.

Hmmmmm -71 books to read- that's a LOT of catching-up to do.... but a great list to work on. Thank you!
How is it possible I've only read 10 of these?I'm going with three things:
--My tastes tend to be a bit obscure.
--I read in many other genres/categories.
--I spent 15 years reading fantasy novels all day at work and just couldn't go home and read more.
I'd like to try to read the other 90, and there's maybe a dozen on the list I've already bought and are on my "to read" shelf, but if you want me to me read Mary Poppins, Harry Potter, Eragon, and The Princess Bride, I'm out.
"You were this great colossus, you were this legendary thing! An yet he gains!""Well, I'm carrying three people, and he only got himself."
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders--the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia."
"Well, I'm not saying I'd like to build a summer home here, but the trees are actually quite lovely..."
"Tyrone, you know how much I love watching you work, but I've got my country's 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and Guilder to frame for it; I'm swamped.""Get some rest. If you haven't got your health, then you haven't got anything."
So'kay....:You mean, you'll put down your rock and I'll put down my sword, and we'll try and kill each other like civilized people?
I should make note not to use "Princess Bride" and "I don't like much" in the same sentence among fantasy readers who probably love it :D (I enjoyed replies with quotes)
I really love both, just in totally different ways. I think that the movie is funnier, but then, I do love Cary Elwes.
The movie concentrates a lot of the humor. In this case the movie really works...it happens. "And YOU: friendless, brainless, helpless, hopeless! Do you want me to send you back to where you were? Unemployed, in Greenland?"
You know, I was going to go home and have a nice long bath with a glass of wine. My plans have changed to a stein of beer and the Princess Bride movie. I love weekends.

I just bought the book for my Kindle. I dont seem to have my paper copy... its probably sitting at home in my Dad's library. When I moved to NC, and tried to reclaim my books (and DVDs) the family kept insisting they were THEIR books. Hmph! Buddy read anyone?
I'm a little over halfway through Captain Blood, I was thinking of getting the pay per view Errol Flynn movie and watching that.
Ooo I love Errol Flynn.... but not more than Muppet Treasure Island. Tim Curry is an excellent Long John Silver, Long John to 'is friends :)
There is very little in the world that makes me happier than the Muppets and Tim Curry together. The fact that he and Miss Piggy were an "item" is a major reason he is one the gods in my own little personal pantheon (which includes Andre the Giant & Inigo).Sadly, the only Errol Flynn movie I ever seen was Robin Hood. If Finals weren't around the corner, I'd happily fix that.

We talked about it back when the list was made. The majority thought it better to have series count as one entry rather than having series take up multiple spots.
Quick question: Just finished reading Inheritance and I noticed that Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr are up there. Is Inheritance included, or just the first three? Doesn't matter if it's not, I was just curious. If it is, then fantastic :D
