This book really disappointed me I was expecting something better after reading "The Invention of Hugo Cabret". Well, the pictures were good at least.

@Georgia: exactly! it WAS clever! :D
ino rite! i would b so cool if they like made one black and white and one in color to seperate the stories and when ben goes deaf the movies like silent or something to show that he cant hear anything : )
YES! the girls story being black and white would be epic! :D and the part where he's trying to make the phone call would be so awesome; during the storm. :)) lol course, it's almost better as a book cause it's neat to see the pics and also I love how Selznick can make the reader feel like you really can't hear anything! :D the part in the "model city" is neat too. ;)
ino! i own the book and its so fun! i remember i had my friends over and we were acting out a wedding 4 fun (i was the father and ring carrier) and the bible was WONDERSTRUCK it was so funny we were like a reading from the WONDERSTRUCK ben chapter 13 passage 5 so funny!
LOL that's so awesome! ;D Ooh I so want to buy both Wonderstruck and Hugo!!!! =D I didn't really like the movie Hugo...but I LOVED the book! :D
This includes more of Brian Selznick's illustrations? Awesome! I loved The Invention of Hugo Cabret and am really looking forward to reading this eventually. :)
How incredibly talented the artist is.. Words and pictures merging seamlessly one into another.. Lovely..
Selznick is a brilliant creator - I don't think I can't call him an author and/or illustrator. I love the way he's been able to work two formats of storytelling together to create one tale.
My sweet grandson lent me his copy of "Wonder Struck," it's great to have a ten year old loan you a book. This book is a work of art and a great read, such a unique way to tell story...
