London works for Big Ben, NYC works for The Empire State Building

Please post tasks in task number order

April Did I miss a rule about when 30 point tasks have to be finished? I didn't think there was a rule detailing time constraints.

April wrote: "Did I miss a rule about when 30 point tasks have to be finished? I didn't think there was a rule detailing time constraints."

In terms of the current challenge, you have until the end of the challenge to finish any and all of the tasks. The earlier date is to be eligible to create a 30 point task for the spring challenge. People who finish the winter challenge by midnight tonight are eligible to create a 30 point task for spring. People who finish later, up until the end of the challenge, are eligible to create a 25 point task.

Hi April, there is no such rule, but those who finish the entire winter challenge by 17 Feb midnight EST get to create the 30-point tasks for the spring challenge :)

Bec post 2395

task 25.9 Each book must be part of a series as identified on Goodreads. The Operative is not identified as a series.

From the description, this book might be part of a series. You may want to do a little research and ask a librarian to update the records. Please repost if that happens.

task 30.1 option 3 The edition of The First Commandment (Scot Harvath, #6) by Brad Thor that you linked does not have a male on the cover. Please repost with the cover of the edition that you read.

This task requires 2 books by the same new-to-you author or 2 new-to-you authors and requires "You also must indicate which author(s) is new to you, as the task requires." Please repost with the required information

task 30.4 book A odd- J.J. Cooper- the 2nd J is an ignored middle name and the "oo" are vowels, not consonants

Nope, that's what I have. And I went back and checked my math and yeah, I have no idea where the extra 15 points came from. I AM about to post the last 15 point task so I'll just keep my total the same. Thanks for checking!

It was not a LARGE print book. It was a larger print than normal. Here is a scan of one of the pages .

If you still think it is large print, I will accept your decision and will let the BB ticket go...but in my view, this was not the LARGE print usually meant by that term.

Larger print = more pages for the same amount of text. However, as I said in the original post, you just needed to check to see if any of the "regular" editions exceeded 500 pages. I checked for you and most of the editions are 500+ so you will get a BB ticket.
