Sadly, I don't. Don't own a digital camera to upload them. When I was in 7th grade, my PE teacher taught those of us who were interested to knit. Crochet and cross stitch I learned from those little craft leaftlets. You can do that too. It doesn't take any skill, just interest. :)

I have done cross stitch, but when my grand tried to teach me crochet, that didn't go so well. I think it has to do with the fact that I am a leftie.

Your fan art covers are great, Meme.

That's one of the fun things about having a little girl (or so I imagine), being able to dress her up.

Could be, but I think they have books now for that because so many people who are lefties has expressed an interest.

Venice Kennedy (venicekennedy) | 70 comments I'm always so tempted to order it when I see that P90X commericial, but I just don't think it's a reality for me right now. I did get up to a purple belt in karate when I was in my 30's but the years have passed. I am really into and excited about the Zumba Fitness I just joined. It's an officially certified facility that's got flashing disco lights and loud speakers to blast afro-carib beats. Forty-five minutes of a sweat-drenched workout. Great for toning if anyone is interested. I tried Turbo Jam, too-- and really liked it. It's just hard to put in that DVD and do it on my own.

I also collect vintage costume jewelry!! Have about 4000 pieces I've snatched up from tag sales and such. Much of it is worth way more than folks realize. I also have many books on the topic. Nice to see what so many of you are into!

I have always wanted to sew. I tried sewing when I was 16 for my home economics class project and failed so badly that I never tried to sew again. I can crochet a little (making blankets), but I can't knit, because I have trouble holding the needles.

That's very cool that you do crochet, Postcrdprincess. My grandma tried to teach me, but no such luck.

I had to take home economics, and I did very simple projects, like sewing a pillow.

postcrdprincess | 397 comments Lady Danielle,

My grandmother is the one who taught me how to crochet. She also knew how to sew very well, but I just can't seem to get that talent, so I leave it to those that can.

My aunt is going to teach me how to quilt this year. That should be fun because I have a number of quilts that my grandmother made me over the years, and I cherish them dearly. Maybe I could do the same for my grandchildren, when I get some (not to soon though, I'm still too young, LOL!).

I find roses to be the most rewarding plants to grow. They are actually quite forgiving, so long as you put the time into planting them right.
