I get a similar reaction when I start geeking out about war/history. He just glazes over. Neither of us like sports though, so that's good. We both wear the pants. Kind of makes movement awkward though.

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) | 1894 comments Thomas (that's my boyfriend) likes anime too, but not like... obsessively or anything. He just watches it.

I do not. It's one of those things I just don't get.

And to be fair, Denae, he does wear pants... usually. But still... I mean, he's not exactly a Man's Man or anything. I like more Boy Stuff than he does.

I was trying to imply that we both share a single pair of pants.

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) | 1894 comments I don't actually watch TV... I watch Ancient Aliens online (it's my guilty pleasure), and... that's about it. Oh! Except So You Think You Can Dance. I love that show. My not-so-guilty pleasure. :D

Back when Tom Baker was 1st on TV in the US the local Gallifreyians has a template to make an exact replica in their 'welcome to the local chapter of the club' package—not sure if they knew it changes some with each season. Here is a site with everything you could ever want to know about the 4th Doctor's scarf.

Thanks! Oh yeah! I'm going to try to go with a more girly color maybe...would that then no longer make it a Dr. Who scarf? Hmmmm.... this must be pondered...

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2719 comments Ronald wrote: "Oh and who the hell is Drizztle?"

Awhile back there was a thread about Dresden, which was misspelled as dresdun. I made the mistake of asking it to be corrected, 'cause it was driving me nuts, and Ala took the opportunity to be even more annoying than usual funny... so the thread title kept changing with various misspellings, like Dresdone and Dres dun dun dun Dun DUN! - but then I think Kevin said something about it, so then they started throwing Drizzt into the title, 'cause Kevin is in love with really likes Drizzt Do'Urden from the Forgotten Realms books...

This, of course, drove Kevin insane, which only prompted more insane variations.

Thus Drizztle me Timbers, and Drizzt White and the Seven Drows (or was it Drow White and the Seven Drizztles? Whatever... )

message 534: by [deleted user] (new)

Drizztle me timbers is still my favorite
