How to get a book listed in a certain genre?

Hi everyone - I'm new to Goodreads, and I've been trying to figure out how books get listed in certain genres. I'm a Goodreads author, and I'd like to have my book appear in the appropriate genre categories (in this case, Western and Short Stories). Is there any way I can tag it, or must I simply wait until some users add it to those shelves?

A user must add it to those shelves. However, you would be both an author and a user. Therefore, you could add it to your own shelves and tag it as such.
