Moloch | 2682 comments Hello,

this book

is the Italian edition of this one

"Robin Cook" is indeed the pseudonym Derek Raymond used when writing this book. But as you can see the cover of the first one has "Derek Raymond" on it, and GR policies don't approve of adding both pen name and real name as authors.
How can I combine the two?

Also, "Robin Cook" the pseudonym and author of "The Tenants of Dirt Street" should be separated from the author with the same name (Robin Cook, author of many medical thrillers).

vicki_girl | 2765 comments As far as I know, adding both names is fine, if it is needed for combining. I would put Robin Cook as the main author (since the others are listed with that name), and Derek Raymond second and combine.

There are several "Robin Cook" authors. Is this author the same as one of existing authors (link below) or an additional Robin Cook?

Moloch | 2682 comments My mistake, I did it all backwards: it's Derek Raymond the pseudonym, Robert William Arthur Cook is the real name (see Wikipedia:

In the page you linked, the author is this one:

A few days ago, either here or in the Feedback group, somebody linked an old thread where Otis asked not to use the "trick" of adding both real name and pseudonym as authors... but I guess he changed his mind then?

Moloch | 2682 comments Here it is: (see msg #7)

Again, it's a very old thread

vicki_girl | 2765 comments He did change his mind later:

So go ahead and add both names. :)

You can also change the author name to the correct Robin Cook. Just make sure you change it on all the editions.
