I do like both of the covers but something about Before grabs me just a lil bit more...not sure if it's the lighting or the title font...just gotta throw that out there :)
Love them both! Very striking covers that made me want to read them right away.
I like the cover of Before too, but I really love the little circles around the title of Masquerade! :PAnd since you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, I should really say that I loved Before and I am patiently (not so much) waiting for Masquerade! :)
I love the cover to Masquerade there is something about the eyes. They really are spectacular. I am excited to read I haven't read a book with a disfigured girl before. I can only imagine what it would be like to be the queen of popularity and then have it all snatched away. It is an interesting premise. What do you think Sam is hiding?
I am more curious about the monster. I had some speculations about this character but after asking Cambria about them it turns out I was wrong, so now I'm really dying to know what's the deal!I also really liked Sam's character! I want to read more of his PoV.
And hopefully after Heven gets disfigured her PoV will appeal more to me...(that sounds weird! :P)

My curiousity is peaked on the Monster and Sam...Before did a great job with that!!! Y'all got me giggling with the disfigurement comments. Two (three) twisted souls?? Can't wait to dive into the bulk of the story. Good writing does that!!!!

Ummmm i don't know. lol. I just meant that I really like the fact that you all are more interested in Heven as a disfigured girl. IT does make her more interesting. ;)

Hi peeps *-*I love many things about Cambria's stories. I sould speak of them all, but i'll be brief and list only the top 4 LoL The first is the name,, Before,its about before it all,, before the change, before the start, before the encounter,, simply before,,, luv it cose it has all this meaning linked to it,,,
2º Hev,, we see the girl in most stories dealing with pain and sorrow and scars, but they are inside,, fears and emotional stuff,, Hev have this on the outside so she can't cover it like the others.. it's out there for everyone to see. That must be really painfull. You can't scape from it or even try to show some strong front while falling apart inside,, in orther words,, your crap is not fooling anyone,,,
3º the narrative jumps from one head to the other, but it didn't gave me a head each cose the characters, even though differents, have this simmilarities in the way of thinking,, it gives a really nice reading flow to it,,,
4º Cambria,,, she is the sweetest thing LoL,, she even take the time to read our babbling and coment,,,

Great points. I am intersted to see if she remains beautiful like for instance J.R. Martinez on Dancing With The Stars he us horribly disfigured but when he is out there dancing he radiates he is so positive and beautiful you see his inner beauty shine through I know that sounds corny but it is so true. I wonder how Heven will deal with it.
I especially liked your second point! :) It's so true! It's like wearing your darkest secret on your face for everyone to see...Also I totally agrre with number 4. She is the best! :)

very preceptive! I hope the book lives up. This is a book definitely about the scars but there is a lot more to it too.... :)

Lisa, Great blog. It's pretty. the one thing I don't like that must is the letter type of the posts, it's to bold and big, maybe you can find something more cute and adorable like the titles. Just a thought! Otherwise it's really nice, I am your new follower!

I'm so excited to read Masquerade!!! Before was amazing and leaves you with so many questions. I really liked both Sam and Heven. Heven's sweet and just going about her life and Sam is intriguing and has a power to his character. I can't wait to see who/what the monster is and how Sam's gotten involved with him. Based on Cambria's writing I've read, this is going to be an amazing book!!!!
