I have read The Hunger Games Trilogy and I really loved it! It was a year ago but I still remember everything about it...the only thing I didn't like was the ending of the last book, so beware!!!
I have put SS1 in the box with books I am moving to my hometown and my old room, I'll get back to it once I am there, which will be on the 22nd. :) I hope I finish it before New Years.
And lastly...today is my stop day, I was just about to post. I will leave the link here once I've done it! :)

Thanks girls. I know that Google Friends is going away soon so I added my email subscription I hope you guys will subscribe and I will do the same for those of you who have it. Ali I have a feeling it will probably be going away for everyone soon. There is no customer support offered for it anymore and I think Google is trying to get everyone to sign up for their circle thing. I would definitely try and gear people to following you on twitter email or FB besides it works better anyway. Too many people just sign up and follow blogs and never return.

True. I do have Twitter set up so hopefully they will still follow that way.
It does make me wonder how places like Netgalley and other publishers will decide which reviewers to send to now though. It use to be based on followers, now they won't really be able to tell.

Well I used to think that to but I have been denied by HC three times for Hallowed and I looked at some of the other people who had gotten it and one of them hadn't posted on her blog since oct and only had 40 followers and the other had about the same and intermittently posted but they had over a 100 reviews posted on GR and my friend Sam just started her blog a couple of weeks ago and she was on HC auto approve lst due to her GR repuation. I have found that GFC box means nothing. So the best thing I can think of is to keep writing reviews and actively posting to your blog and of course having comments helps. The best way to get comments is of course give them back.

I also installed a page counter. I wouldn't worry too much about the GFC some of the biggest blogs out there i.e. story siren and parajunkee just moved to WP and they won't have GFC. I just wouldn't count on it long term. Best to start moving your followers now.

I agree about the NetGalley not caring so much about your followers. I am too at HC auto approval list and when that happened I didn't have a lot followers.
But if you want Hallowed so badly keep requesting it. I did the same thing for a book I wanted and finally, after 5 or 6 declined requests, I got approved! :)
Even so I wouldn't want my GFC to go away. I love getting new followers and everyday check on the number to see if it's up.

Well Veronica I keep requesting it I figure they will hate me but seriously I have worked my butt off on my blog and reviews.
Another note, I am getting memes lined up. Cambria and I cooked up a fun one last night that she is going to sponser and I have a couple if my own. Do any of you ladies have yourvown memes? I am looking for some fresh ones and I would love to support you guys.

As for what you do and don't get approved on NetGalley for, I have learned not to take it personally. I really don't always see a rhythm or reason to whom they approve and who they don't.
And trust me, I haven't been approved for everything I have requested either.

As for memes, I don't have one either. I think I have enough work with just trying to keep my blog and Goodreads up to date LOL. But good luck with it. I would love to see what you guys came up with! :)

And Heidi, your blog is fantastic, don't be upset over being declined for books, I know very few people who get all the ones they request.
