GOT TO HAVE ITThe finished book. I started reading this guy's writing here on Goodreads. He writes YA Historical Fiction/SciFi - and it will probably appeal to guy readers as much or more than girls (which is kind of rare these days I think). So someone please check it out and tell him to hurry up and finish the book. http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/2.... My daughters believe their guy friends could seriously benefit from actually reading a book.
Plus the Academy excerpts don't show any signs of having whiny useless girl lead characters (please MAKE IT STOP) or over-compensating kick but girl characters who are really just guys in drag (funny but also please MAKE IT STOP). Those kinds of characters have become too commonplace in YA.
