As an author I'm inspired by my children, the chilly Atlantic waters and the rocky coastal landscape of Nova Scotia. Most of my novels are YA adventure mixed with mystery or horror and possibly a friendly romance or two. As a reader, I'm a sucker for a good thriller, horror, para, scifi, mystery... and of course almost any YA or children's fiction.

I'm always open to recommendations and will happily blog about any of the good books I've read. I'll even add a rating here if I enjoy it. Just know in advance - I'm a single parent so I'm on a tight budget. And if any readers out there are interested in one of my books, just send me a message and I'll be happy to give you a coupon for a free e-book version of it.
