The little boy has autism and he is awesome at math. One of his neighbors dog was killed and he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time because he was blamed and taken to jail for caring. When his dad got him out of jail he started to investigate what happen to the dog. While he was doing this his dad got mad at him and told him to PROMISE that he would not do anymore investigating. During the process of "not investigating" he made a friend but was still not sure about her cause she was a stranger.
