I know I have only been popping in and out for brief moments lately, but it seems the most prominent threads at the moment revolve around death and dying. What gives?

message 3: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I have been gone, but I would like to discuss cheese more.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

I would be more interested in a cheese discussion.

I only started mine (images of death and dying) because I was disturbed by the violent Qaddafi death and wondered if anyone else felt the same.

message 6: by Mary (new)

Mary (merrussell) Lets see- shall we talk cheddar or Gruyere?

My dog crapped next to our bed this morning, so obviously I stepped in it. Nothing like fresh dog poo before the sun is up.

How's that?

message 10: by Suefly (new)

Suefly | 620 comments Oh, poop.

message 11: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11665 comments When you stepped in it did you say, "oh, shit!"

That would have been cool.

message 12: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11665 comments Were there any puffed-up Craisins in it?

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Doesn't Leah have any teeth?

message 14: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) Yuck!

It was too dark to identify the individual components. I'd like to hope not.

I didn't mean to offend anyone LG and apologise if you were. I just found it a little depressing.

message 19: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4728 comments Yes, pretty gross...although I did enjoy the movie overall.

You didn't offend me.

I think about death a lot.

message 24: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6485 comments I never think about death, I'm going to let it surprise me.

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3207 comments Mary wrote: "Lets see- shall we talk cheddar or Gruyere?"

I found my new favorite cheese for making grilled cheese sandwiches; it's a provolone-mozzarella blend in whole slices made by Sargento. Yum!

message 26: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6485 comments I had Chevre on a Chicken and Chutney sandwich. It is a very flavorful cheese.

Gruyere and Jarlsberg are both great cheeses for melting on top of sandwiches.

Is this an "ad" for Sargento?

message 29: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3207 comments No, it's not an ad or an "ad." I just like the cheese and I don't know of anyone else that makes it.

message 30: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I think the guy on the Sargento commercials sounds like a Muppet.

message 31: by Cam (last edited Nov 04, 2011 10:16AM) (new)

Cam | 111 comments I really don't care if it was an ad. Someone from our town works as an executive in management for one of the cheese companies - it starts with an S, so it's probably Sorrento cheese.

Amber-who-is-not-Larry, that sounds like an extremely yummy cheese!

They should make a muppet out of cheese and have him voice it in the commercials.

Sargento's headquarters are about a half-hour from my house.

That is all.

Animal lovers might want to avoid episode 5.
