i have no idea what to make of the leo-sammy thing... but i was thinking that maybe sammy was leo's great grandpa or something and they look exatly alike? i really dont know.

I was having the same thoughts. Maybe once Hazel left, Gaea did something to Sammy. Like talk him into some deal. Maybe a deal that made him immortal and the Mist made people think that Leo(Sammy) was there the whole time. Like with Jason and Piper.

Well, you know how Piper thought Jason was there for like three months, but the Mist is what made her think that? I was saying that maybe when Hazel left for Alaska, Gaea told Sammy that Hazel was in danger and talked him into a bad deal. But the Mist made people think he was there. IDK it was just a thought.

okay i read this somewhere... isn't it weird how closely PJO and HP match up?

Percy Jackson and Harry Potter- same kind of hair and eyes and stuff and same personality, very loyal, both slightly troubled and go to a place where they can contain powers

Annabeth Chase and Hermione Granger- both the smart ones in the group, but nonetheless a good friend and can get pretty jealous (remember HP6?)

Grover (did we ever learn his last name?) and Ron Weasley- both can be the kind of helpless sidekicks but grow throughout the books and are a little quirky and nervous and stuff, but are really good friends nonetheless


... only thing... annabeth doesn't like grover but percy.

I noticed the same thing!!! At first when I was reading the first Harry Potter book it caught me off guard, just like Percy Harry was also abused, whether by aunts and uncles or stupid stepfathers -.-, but as I went along I kept comparing everyone in my mind, sometimes I almost thought that maybe Percy was more of a Ron Harry mix, Ron has a bit more funniness and confidence than Grover buit I think if I think in that angle, yeah he is the HP Grover.... weird stuff....

Well some publishers rejected J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter book because they thought no one would like all the weird wizards and spells. But what do you know?!?!? J.K Rowling is now richer than the queen of England, ALL of her books were made into movies, and just about everyone has either seen the movies and or read the books!
