I have a Dragons shelf as well. I don't know how many I have on it though. I usually only keep my unread books shelved as anything other than "read" or "to-read"

I just downloaded
as a freebie from the Amazon Prime Lending Library for Kindle.
Well darn. I just realized that this challenge doesn't start until 1/11/11. I can't check another one out of the lending library until I return this one. I don't know how often the lending library with change. Oh well. I have lots of other dragon books. Plus if I like it there's more in the series. I think.

AV I've read the first Dragon of Pern book and loved it.
Jen - I read as many as I could get my hands on several years ago. I was reading them back to back. Kinda burned myself out for a bit, but never managed to get back to them. Now I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure which ones I've read! I really enjoyed them. LOVED the dragons - and the relationship between the dragons and the riders.
I may give them a try. At least one. I have been looking through that huge list posted and have found some ideas.

Thank you! I will add those to my list of possible to reads for next year. My list that keeps on growing... I hope all of those are ones I can get from the library. I can't afford to buy all the books I want. I need to save my holiday money for 2012 releases since they will be harder to borrow.

I'm going to join this one because I love dragon shifters. I just finished the Pendragon series by Susan Kearney and enjoyed it immensely though I did think the final book was a tad too unbelievable.The Year of the Dragon

Yep, Chinese New Year is always different to normal. We always get dragon dances and special things happening in Chinatown here in Sydney and I'm sure the same thing would happen around the world.

Thought that must be true. Couldnt wait to read Inheritance but I won't have any problem finding more great dragon books!
@Sandra:It wasn't the "menage action" that bothered me. There was just no story! All they did was..have fruitcake..lots and lots of fruitcake! ;-)
