You should post this in the Recommendations folder. This thread is for group related questions, not book related ones.

I was just getting ready to ask "H" what she meant by the review program... if you could explain what you mean, there's a lot of people that would be happy to help you!
the book The Shining ISBN13: 9780451193889 has an incorrect # of pages. correct page # is 464.same with 11/22/63 (ISBN13: 9781444727333)
correct # is 734.

I'm trying to find a video I saw once on YouTube but I can't find it now.In this video, Stephen King discusses movies that scare him and ones that he admires.
Has anyone else seen or heard of this video or know where it can be found?
Sounds like a video connected to Danse MacabreHere's an Imdb list of the films he talks about in Danse Macabre.

I turned it off in my groups because I don't think it's necessary.
Has anyone read author Dominick Dunne?
You can post your King collection in this thread. You can also upload the photos to the groups photo section!Pics of Your King Books
You can also post your general book shelves here in the Horror Afficiandos group:

Hi Giovanni, this thread is for asking questions to the mods regarding the group. Please feel free to introduce yourself in our Intro thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Maryann wrote: "This book by Stephen King, UR. I am having a terrible time finding it anywhere. Has anyone else had the same problem or come across who sells it? I am intrigued now and have to add it to my collect..."I have it on my Kindle. That may be the only way to get it. Of course you can download the Kindle app to your phone, tablet, or computer as well. Definitely worth the read.
Elizabeth wrote: "Maryann wrote: "This book by Stephen King, UR. I am having a terrible time finding it anywhere. Has anyone else had the same problem or come across who sells it? I am intrigued now and have to add ..."What Elizabeth said is right. I recall reading somewhere that King specifically wrote that book and it is available in e-book form only. The story is about a kindle. I don't know if it available on nook or other e-reader devices. Look on amazon first.
Lanie wrote: "Elizabeth wrote: "Maryann wrote: "This book by Stephen King, UR. I am having a terrible time finding it anywhere. Has anyone else had the same problem or come across who sells it? I am intrigued no..."When the book first came out King took a lot of heat for basically doing a promotion for Kindle. But it's a pretty good story whether that was his reasoning or not.
Nick,After reading that story, it might be an anti-story for Kindle...I was just happy after reading it that my kindle was not pink :)
Is there any way you can read the Group Read discussion threads for previous months? I started reading Mr Mercedes in september when it was the group read but only just finished it a couple of days ago. I would love to read what was written in the discussion thread during september but I can't find it anywhere. I know the book has it's own thread too but the first half of the thread was posted before the book came out and the second half doesn't contain a lot in terms of book and story analysis.
I'd use the search option. That's the best way, since the threads would be moved to the folder appropriate to the different books (novel, short story collections, non-King, etc). You should be able to find Mr. Mercedes in the "Talk About The Novels" folder.
Question - I got the email that the group will start to read Revival on Nov 1 st but when I did a search to purchase it, it's not available that soon. Is there a place selling it sooner that you all know about?

Becky wrote: "I'd use the search option. That's the best way, since the threads would be moved to the folder appropriate to the different books (novel, short story collections, non-King, etc). And other searches didn't give any result either. To me it looks like the thread was either deleted or archived when the month was over. But if you can find a link it will be greatly appreciated.
It is not archived, it was moved to the appropriate folder. The group read thread was not a new thread, it was a continuation of the existing one - it was moved to the Group Read folder for the group read, and then back after the month was over. But the thread is still open: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
*cough* Well... seems that we got a bit behind and missed the nomination window for this group... so we'll try something new. Susanna - since you asked first, we're gonna let you choose April's group book. It should be a book you'd recommend to King, and one that we haven't yet read as a group.
You can either post it here or PM me, and I'll do the rest. :)
hey guys, wasn't sure where to post this but is there a book to read for the month of April? Thanks.

Becky wrote: "Susanna - since you asked first, we're gonna let you choose April's group book. It should be a book you'd recommend to King, and one that we haven't yet read as a group."Well, to Uncle Stephen I would like to recommend Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. It kind of reminded me of Carrie, in that both of these books helped me find myself in the turmoil of being a teenager and not fitting in.
I love Palahniuk. Even his novels I don't love I can appreciate his style. He's a super good guy, too. That shouldn't matter, but somehow it seems to.
Ooh I'm going to look this one up, hopefully my local library has it! This may seem a silly question to you Constant Readers here on SKF, however I must ask, is it a King book one month and then one you think he'd like the next, alternating continuously?
We have 3 different versions of group reads that we alternate: A King book
A Non-King book that he's recommended
A King book
A Non-King book that we would recommend to him
... and repeat

Thanks very much for clearing that up Becky!
FYI - and this may be worth reposting once we have the Invisible Monsters discussion thread. There are two versions - I listened to the Remix and I didn't get it. I was told by a Palahniuk fan that the Remix version of Invisible Monsters is probably best for die hard fans who have already read the book once. Also, that it is not a good version to read if it is your first experience with him.Just thought I would throw that out there . . . take it however you like! :)
